johanna, your 55 is so wonderful! reading through your words reminded me of when i was a child, growing up in the state of washington. i learned quickly that you can't stay inside when the drops begin to fall because it rains there almost all of the time! we would put our swimsuits on, go outside, and dance!

I love the rain too Jo! As a child there was nothing like jumping in puddles, catching the rain in your mouth, twirling around & floating paper boats in the gutter...lot's & lot's of fun! Oh yeh & after playing outside in the rain...coming inside & having a nice hot bath!

I live in Oregon and we get our fair share of rain. Some grumble. I embrace it with its rhythmic sounds, life giving moisture and the puddles it creates. Who doesn't want to stomp in a puddle. My 55 is HERE .
